For Sadie’s party at the beginning of Spring, I thought I’d try making my own flower crowns for party guests. Here’s how:
You need:
- Artificial flowers (I found really pretty ones at Dollarama surprisingly)
- Pipe cleaners
- Ribbon
- Glue Gun
{Start by measuring the circumference of the head of who’s wearing the crown (babies, adult-size, and a few of her stuffed animals were my choice.)}
………………………………………………………………………………
{Shape pipe cleaners into a circle roughly using the measurement from above.}
………………………………………………………………………………
{Start glueing your flowers around the crown. For Sadie’s crown (middle photo), I grouped a bunch of flowers as a focal point near the front. On the adult flower crown (last photo) I glued a big flower for a focal point.}
………………………………………………………………………………
{Then start looping and glueing the ribbon around your crown, to hide the ends of the flowers. I used a dab of glue on every loop to make the ribbon really secure. Leave a little ribbon at the back as a decorative tail.}
………………………………………………………………………………
{adorn your crowns on the party guests š Sadie wore hers a little crooked, but it still looked cute!}
