I was so honoured to design Chris and Melinda’s wedding invitations for their stunning Fall wedding at the vintage old town hall in the quaint little town of Ancaster.
We started with pinning lots of ideas as references, and I designed three options. I love the direction she went with! Rustic wood paired with beautiful lace and an elegant script for the font. I hand-drew the lace for a very unique look and feel. For the back of the invitation, Melinda wanted to pick a fun and informal picture of her and Chris to keep the invitation light and personal.
Schedule / Map Card
I designed the schedule and map to really reflect the evening Chris and Melinda had planned, with their Mexican fiesta and awesome jam session! I also referenced photos of the Ancaster old town hall so I could replicate it in sketch form. This way their guests would recognize it right away. This was such a great piece to design and really gave the invitation a fun and personalized take!
We put beautiful white doilies as liners in the kraft paper envelopes, and Melinda hand-wrote her guest’s addresses for a personal touch.
